Where do I use a Blank Post?

Use this post anywhere you need to mount handrail, but not cable infill—like against a wall.

What does "blank" mean?

"Blank" means that these posts do not come with pre-drilled and tapped holes like our terminal Signature Series posts. Each post face is smooth and cannot be used with Cable Bullet Tensioners for Metal Posts. Use this post anywhere you need handrail, but not cable infill without needing to plug the unused tensioner holes.

Can I use this on stair/level sections?

Yes! Our blank posts come with an adaptable post top for both stair and level applications.
For stair applications, use the pre-installed pivoting post top the same as you would with a Top of Stair or Bottom of Stair terminal post (See Signature Series Handrail Setup Guide).
For level applications, remove the pivoting core and use the additional included screw to secure the stationary post top to match the rest of your level-run posts.
