  • Pre-cut cable lines
  • Cable cutters (if necessary)
  • Crimper tool
  • Crimp sleeves and other fittings you plan to crimp to your steel cable

    1. Measure and cut your cable.
      Measure and cut your cable wire, or take out your pre-cut cable and set up your DIY station according to your liking.
    2. Assemble your crimp sleeves & fittings on the steel cable.
      Insert one end of your cable wire into a crimp sleeve (and other applicable fittings). Secure them in place.
    3. Crimp your steel cable.
      Take your crimping tool and open its arms. Then, place the end of the steel cable with the sleeve and other fittings into its jaw. Finally, close the arms of the crimping tool all the way to secure a permanent crimp/bond.
