Q&A

what do I need for a 12' span?

Hi Ted! For a straight, level 12' section you will need a 96" panel, a 48" panel, (2) end posts, and (1) two-way post at minimum. If you would prefer regular post spacing, I would recommend (3) 48" panels, (2) end posts, and (2) two-way posts instead. Keep in mind that these recommendations are given without knowledge of your specific project layout and do not include the tools or hardware required for installation. Hi I have 9 sectiond that will be installed between stone columns Can i mount the rails into the stone or do I have to put a post on each end ?

Hi, Joseph! There are ways to mount our Summit Series panels directly between columns without using a post on each side, but the solution that is right for you will greatly depend on the specifics of your project. The support team member working on your estimate will have the most accurate information for you. If you haven't already, I would encourage you to call (574) 742-2737 or email info@cablebullet.com to give them more details about your project.

What if I only need a 7' rail

Great question, Jesus! Our 8-foot panels are made to span a maximum of 8 feet, but are designed to be cut down where needed. Our 8-foot panels can easily accommodate a 7-foot span. You can take a look at our installation instructions or how-to videos (found at the bottom of the product page) for more information on how to cut down the panels.

What is the width of the top rail of the panel?

Hello, Jeff! Both the top and bottom rails on our Summit Series panels measure 1.85 inches tall and 1.35 inches wide. Let us know if you have anymore questions regarding our Summit Series system!

Hi - I am looking to buy this rail, however, I have just about 2 inches in width space at the bottom to drill down. I am also not sure if its sturdy enough underneath... could someone please advise if I am able to send in a picture?

Yes, Chris! I will have a member of our project support team reach out to you via email so that you can include a photo. If you need to get ahold of us immediately, you can call (574) 742-2737 or email info@cablebullet.com.
