Can you use the fixed corner spline for a 90 degree turn into a wall for a handrail? What are the measurements of the fixed corner spline and can it be trimmed?
Yes, in certain situations 90-degree fixed splines can be used to turn into a wall. However, without knowing your exact project layout, I can’t guarantee that it will be the right solution for you. You may also need to use a handrail bracket on your wall surface for added support. The sales representative working on your estimate will always have the most relevant information. I would recommend talking with them. As for the dimensions, the arms of our fixed splines are 1.5” wide and approx. 0.735” tall. The inner length of the arms run 2.5” from the inner corner to the end, and the outer length runs 4” from the outer corner to the end. And yes, our fixed corner splines can be trimmed if needed.
