The Right Tools for the Job

The Crimp & Cut Multi-Tool is used to securely compress crimp sleeves and cut cable. The cutting blade and crimping jaws are designed for precision, accuracy, and ease. Each multi-tool features: 

• Cutting blade to cut 5/32" cable
• Crimping jaws to compress crimp sleeve 

If your project is larger than 100 tensioners (or 100 cable cuts), we highly recommend purchasing larger cutters (13” Hand-Held) for easier and faster cable railing installation.

This kit also includes two custom drivers for use with a 1/2" chuck drill/driver to set Bullets. Use the 3/32" Allen Wrench or 6" Hex Socket Head Power Bit to advance the set screws that tension each cable run.PLEASE NOTE: The set screws that tension each cable should be advanced by hand, not with a drill/impact driver.

Each installation kit includes:

• (1)Hex Socket Head Power Bit (3/32")
• (1)Cable Bullet spare parts bundle (10 set screws, 10 lobed washers, 10 crimp sleeves)

If you are installing Cable Bullet Metal Post Tensioners on custom metal posts (not Signature Series) you will also need the following tools:

• 19/32” drill bit* (for steel posts)
• 37/64” drill bit* (for aluminum posts)
• ⅝-18 UNF (fine) tap* and appropriate tap handle*
