What Size Should I Order?

It is nearly impossible, when installing on wooden posts with PVC sleeves, at least, to get the right angle to drill the pilot holes and then tap out the hole. But we made due. "From start to finish all of our interactions with cable bullet were excellent. From the personal contact to readily available guidance for questions along the way was great. I had to make some changes along the way and order adjustments were easy, and returns were seamless as well. A few tips that I learned I will pass along, and hopefully future customers will benefit. First, mark the template with a big magic marker denoting the big end and the little end so that you don’t make a mistake and reverse the template accidentally. That will create a challenging situation to patch the holes when you figure it out after you’ve drilled. Triple check each drill before you turn on the drill. And even with 4 x 4 posts, I recommend drilling from both sides to avoid misalignment. It’s a bit of extra drilling, but worth it when your lines are precise on both sides of the post If you’re using clamps to hold the template then make sure they are secure. I have some 7 x 7” posts, and I found using three small screws through the template Anchored it the best when drilling my big posts. This did create some extra little holes, but they cleaned right up with sandpaper. The alternative was it moved and holes were misaligned. Don’t try to tape it! I learned that the hard way and ended up having to plug the holes that went off-line with Dowel rod and replace a small piece of facia on my post to correct it. If you’re installing angled runs on stairways, I put the upper bullet with the Allen slot rotated up, and the lower ones rotated down. This allowed the cable to take the angle, very cleanly and made tightening much easier. Overall, we are very pleased with the appearance. It’s created a safe railing while maintaining the visual beauty beyond our deck to be always appreciated. Highly recommend this product. Thanks again."

"Once you get all the measuring for the post holes and crimping of the cables, it still takes a good bit of time to drill the holes and install the bullets. I don't think it matters what tensioning system you use, they are all tedious to install and take a good bit of time."
