Bullets and cable went up

"Bullets and cable went up fairly quick and easy. Instructions were good and videos on the website were very helpful. The handrail was more challenging when it came to attaching to existing posts with the post-side handrail bracket. The bracket is not very big so it does not leave much room for drilling into the handrail and attaching the screws. It could definitely be a little bigger so it catches more of the railing"

"They are good I think the plate you put under the post for adjusting should just come with post and not be an extra cost and maybe a we check on hard water all the post I got only had two of the self tapping screws instead of the 4 you need to mount to hand rail. Also the plastic corner pieces are nice other than they are not a true 90 degrees"

On a span, how often do you need a post?
Hi Bart! We recommend installing [tensioning posts](https://www.cablebullet.com/products/signature-series-top-mount-cable-rail-tensioning-post) every 20' and [intermediate posts](https://www.cablebullet.com/products/signature-series-intermediate-cable-rail-post) every 5-7' depending on how strong your toprail is. Any span greater than 4', we recommend adding a [spacer bar](https://www.cablebullet.com/products/cable-bullet-cable-spacer-bar) for cable support. how do i adjust the hieght of SIGNATURE SERIES TOP MOUNT INTERMEDIATE POST?
Hello, Emmett. If you are wanting to cut down an intermediate post for a custom height, you must cut from the top of the post. You will need to tap and drill to reattach the post top. I would recommend wrapping painter's tape around the section of post you intend to cut to minimize chipping the powder-coat.
re: "Would you like us to brush your mill finish posts?". Can you share what this means if I say yes?
Good question, Randy. Mill finish may include hairline scratches, small dings, or scoring from the manufacturing process. This would not represent an issue if you are planning to paint or powder-coat your own posts, or if you like a more industrial look as is the case for some of our customers. Most, however, prefer a look similar to brushed stainless steel. If you select "yes", we will clean and brush the posts before shipping them out.
Are these posts available in brushed stainless steel
Hi Richard, unfortunately not at the moment. We are committed to expanding our line of posts and have plans for a stainless option, however not until later this year.
