The Type III anodized aluminum finish can last over 20 years, depending on environmental conditions and wear. Coastal and high-UV environments may accelerate wear compared to inland or interior applications.

Top and Bottom Stair Posts feature a pivoting top, so you don’t need a hinge. The Bottom Stair Post also has tensioning holes shifted up 1" to help cables clear stair nosing and meet code.

Nope. Rather than using our top and bottom stair posts which include a pivoting head, you can use a handrail hinge with an end, 2-way, or corner post to transition from level to stair run. While they’re optional, a bottom stair post might allow for more flexibility when positioning your posts and helps to keep you code compliant.
