How do panels assemble with the posts?

Each post is mortised to accept panel rails. You will place the handrail section of the panel into this cavity and secure it in place with set screws.

Do Summit Series posts come with mounting screws?

Yes, they also come with built-in leveling screws that are perfect to pair with our Post Leveling Plates.

What size cable is used on Summit Series?

1/8” cable is used for Summit Series Panels. The cable comes pre-cut and crimped so that your installation will be quick and easy.

What is each post type used for?

Two-way Post: Two level panels attaching to one post continuing a straight run.

Corner Post: Two level panels attaching to one post at a 90-degree turn.

End Post: One level panel attaching to one post. An end post will also be used to connect a level panel and a stair panel.

Is the panel mounting hardware included with the post?

Yes, rail attachment set screws are included with your post. The number of screws will vary based on the type of post you purchase.

"You cut these to size and install in the posts. It took longer to install the posts plumb. The rails easily slide in. Follow the instructions. My homeowner did these herselff after I set the posts. Finally found a product that works and looks great. We looked at sourcing the individual products and doing it ourselves. This was less expensive and the quality didn’t even compare. If you’re doing diy this is the system. If your a pro this is the product."

Do you make a gate for the vertical series?: Hi joe! The short answer is no- we do not have a gate assembly for our Summit Series. We have had some creative customers in the past fabricate a gate from our Signature Series line, and the same could be done with our Summit Series. But we do not currently have a recommended solution for doing so.
on the vertical cable system what are the dimensions of the top horizonal bar?: Great question, Tony! Both the top and bottom rails measure 1.85" tall and 1.35" wide. They come in lengths of 94.5" for an 8' run with a support bar or 46.68" for a 4' run without a support bar.
