Do you offer a specific bracket for certain handrail applications?

Post-Side Handrail Brackets are specifically designed for dead-ending the top rail into the side of a Signature Series Terminal Post, wood column, or wall. They are compatible with both angled and level top rail.

Wall-Mounted Handrail Brackets are ideal for mounting a handrail parallel to a structural wall surface.

Post-Mounted Handrail Brackets are ideal for mounting an additional handrail on your post, as some codes may require you to.

What qualifies as a "coastal" application?

A "Coastal" environment is defined as installations subject to marine air, salt-laden fog, and indirect atmospheric salt exposure (e.g., balconies, decks, and exterior staircases), usually within 1 mile of a saltwater or brackish coast.
Even so, it is recommended to rinse your railing with fresh water following any indirect exposure to salt spray or contaminants.

Approved "Coastal" environments do NOT include direct salt or chlorinated water contact such as: immersion or spray (docks, piers, or railings extending into or directly above bodies of water), pool splash zones (installations within 10 feet of a saltwater or traditional chlorine swimming pools or hot tubs), or direct exposure (frequent splashing from storms, waves, or pool activities). Products installed in any of the environments listed above are not covered under our warranty.

"While the bracket, once installed, does provide a nice, clean look, the trade-off is in the strength of the connection as well as the overall installation headaches. It’s difficult to mark the holes that have to be drilled into the handrail, as well as drill them at the proper angle in order to get the screws to set properly and with proper strength to keep the rail in place (once tensioners are under tension). Overall, Cable Bullet is a very good system, but the learning curve as well as some of the handrail fastening and joinery engineering make it a bigger challenge with steep learning curve, even for advanced DIYers. It does look like they are listening to their customers and updating some of the designs to make it a little friendlier."
