A pleasure to install

"Didn't know what to expect when I began installing CB on my new deck. Very straightforward, easy to understand instructions, almost as easy as putting together Ikea furniture. Only parts that in my opinion could use more elaboration, or a video, are assembling the railings around corners when you have weildly long pieces that have to be spliced together when mounted. The day I had to do the longest piece I didn't have anyone around to assist, so decided to fasten the splices after mounting. Tapping the holes from underneath was difficult, and I had a hard time getting a set screw into one of them. I'll be emailing Nick and Josiah the photos of my finished installation."

I had to buy replacement parts despite their claim that they would replace parts not usable in project. Wasted money and time. Any concerns using this intermediate post to run cable around a 45 degree corner?
Hi Erik - great question! If the railing section with the 45-degree turn is 16-18', then you should still be able to tension your cables enough to reach 150# of tension. If your section is longer than that, you may want to consider using 2 [tensioning end posts](https://www.cablebullet.com/collections/signature-series-side-mount-posts/products/signature-series-side-mount-tensioning-post) in order to get the proper cable tension. I see the cable tensioning posts can be 20 ft apart. What is maximum spacing for the intermediate posts?

If your intermediate post spacing is 7'-8', you might consider using fixed spacer bars instead (these attach to the underside of your handrail).
